“Great journalism and great art both begin with a single question: why? My mission is to make sure the answers reach as many minds—and last as many years—as possible.”

With 35 years in Asian media, Cyril led Operations at South China Morning Post (1985-2001) while publishing Asia Magazine. He served four terms as Chairman of the Society of Publishers in Asia and lobbied for the SOPA Editorial Excellence Awards, often called “Asia’s Pulitzer.”

Today he guides publishers in eight countries through data-driven transformation and, via Heritage Focus in Kuala Lumpur, curates museum-quality photography exhibitions that preserve regional heritage for future generations.
